About Masontown Trophy & Embroidery
Over thirty years ago, a young man with a shelving unit set, a hand-held engraver and a few trophy supplies, George Franks, Jr., began Masontown Trophy in the corner of his father's business building. Masontown Trophy started as an after school business for George.
During the day George was a school teacher with the Albert Gallatin Area School District as well as the Athletic Director. Sports were always a part of his life, from his childhood years through adulthood, and George has always been an avid sports player and fan. He even played for West Virginia University Baseball while earning his Bachelor's degree in Physical Education.
After many years of selling trophies, George expanded his business to incorporate sporting goods and embroidery, and so in 1989, Masontown Trophy & Embroidery emerged.
Today our business is equipped with cutting edge engraving technology with our new 40 power watt Universal Laser Engraver, Happy embroidery machines, marketing and advertising specialty items and screen printing.
We have gone through many phases of growth and change during our several decades in business, but one thing has remained the same: our business is family based and quality driven with satisfied customers.
We have grown from a small individual awards company to a company who meets local and individual needs as well as corporate orders. No order is too large.
It is our desire to meet customer expectations in quality and delivery as well as serve them as a "one stop shop" where they can purchase awards, recognition and retirement gifts, custom embroidered apparel and ad specialties of any kind.
